Spotlight sets each caption as a two-line lockup: a heavy condensed italic headline with a top-lit gradient and a glow in the same color, over a small white subline. Words rise in on a steady rhythm that runs slightly ahead of the speaker, so every line is complete and easy to read before it is finished, and successive lines alternate between two accent colors.
